Here I am 3 weeks after delivery and ready to do some walking... Just some for now.
Well what I thought would be some, turned into 3.5 miles today!
Nicole met up with me at my house and we took all 4 boys with us and walked the Falling Waters Trail all the way to Betsy Butterfield Park, and then back home again. I didn't really remember it being so long, but sure was feeling it while walking it. And sure enough, once I found the time to look it up, it calculated out to 3.48 miles that we walked total. I pushed the jogging stroller that Lukas sat in, and I had Brady in an infant carrier on my chest. So Im not sure if that deserves bonus points too.
So with that being my first real workout, I guess I need to keep this up if I want to get to my goal weight of 140 lbs. I know my goal last year was 130 lbs. but lets be realistic here and start small. Lets get down to pre-pregnancy weight first, then we can talk about the other 10 lbs. later.
I was at 140 pre-Lukas, and about 145 pre-Brady. And currently weighing in at 160 lbs. So Ive got 15 more pounds of the 40 that I gained for Brady.
